About Me

me

Ph.D. and M.S. from the University of California, Davis. 6 years of experience in physical processes and water quality in water bodies, and the analyses by coupling in-situ observations and 3D numerical modeling. Currently working on the developement of a 3D numerical model to study mercury dynamics in laks as a postdoctoral scholar in the Tahoe Environmental Research Center, (TERC) with Ph.D. Geoffrey Schladow. In addition, as a member of TERC, I perform analysis and management of the Nearshore Network and long-term data collection systems at Lake Tahoe.

I link my research interests to lake hydrodynamics, physical processes in the nearshore area of a lake, and water quality. I focus my work to contribute to the understanding of the water quality implications of physical processes such as river inflows, upwellings, and sediment resuspension. The results from my work pursue innovative input into these topics, aiming to provide insights into a more sustainable environment.
